In the municipality of Santanyi, in the southeast of Mallorca, Cala Llombards is a very popular cove with crystal clear water and fine white sand. The beach is pretty short, around 55 metres but 150 metres wide. There are sun beds and parasols available for renting by the beach. Access for pedestrians, vehicles and boats. Cala Llombards is a quiet residential area which has managed to retain away from the mass tourism which has affected other parts of the island. Here you still can find some "escars" which are traditional buildings used by the fishermen to keep their boats and their fishing tackle. Cala Figuera, Cala Mondragó and Cala d'Or are just a kilometres up the coast.
