El Toro is one town of the adjoining municipality Calviá with the nearby nature reserve Reserva de la Illa Maritima of Toro. In the village there are supermarkets, convenience stores, pharmacies, doctors, bars and restaurants. In a short distance the residential and shopping district Son Ferrer is reached. Here are retailers and other service providers for daily needs located.
Unique is the quiet and sandy beach of El Toro with it`s red rock walls. Nearby is the famous marina of Port Adriano, which developed the area to a luxury resort. From the bustle of mass tourism it remains virtually untouched here.
For golf enthusiasts is El Toro a good starting point. Three golf courses are located in Santa Ponsa, which is just a few minutes away. Behind Son Ferrer also lies the Poniente golf course in a beautiful landscape.
Palma de Mallorca is about 35 km away.
