Playa d?Es Caragol
Es Caragol is a fantastic unspoiled beach located in the municipality of Santanyi, seven kilometres away from Ses Salines and it is the most southern beach of the Mallorca, together with Cala en Tugores, both beaches are divided by a rocky strip. The beach can be only be reached walking from Ses Salines' lighthouse, the distance is around 2 kilometres. The beach is 500 metres long and 60 wide with very nice sand and turquoise waters, all surrounded by dunes... yes, believe it or not, this is Mallorca too!. In the beach you can still find the remaining of bunkers of the Spanish civil war, the beach borders with Sa Vall country estate belonging to the rich March family. Bring drinks and something to bite, there's no snack bar by the beach. Colonia de Sant Jordi and Cala Figuera are just a short drive away.
