Illetas is located on the southwest coast of Mallorca in the municipality of Calvia between Portals Nous and Cala Mayor about 10 kilometers from Palma. On the surrounding impressive cliffs of the quiet, beautiful bay, upscale hotels, restaurants and shops have settled.
Playa Illetas is the largest of three small beaches that make up this municipality. Generally all age groups and families are represented here, but the younger generation likes to come here for the beach clubs and the lively, exclusive atmosphere. The almost 200 meter long beach with white sand and calm, blue water is reminiscent of the Caribbean.
