Santa Ponsa, on the southwest coast of Mallorca, is a thriving and busy holiday resort with a large and small secluded beaches, both of them have good sand and are safe for bathing being shallow, another nice sandy beach can be found in the neighbouring Port Adriano, for those who are not so fond of sand, there are also several rocky sea access spread around the area perfect for a dip on the sea.

Three superb championship golf courses and two prestigious sports marinas well known for their sophisticated service and style. There are some places in the world, such as St. Andrews in Scotland, that are synonymous with golf. Mallorca's equivalent is the stunning resort of Golf Santa Ponsa. Golf Santa Ponsa is Mallorca's principal golf village, containing three courses, Santa Ponsa I is open to the public, whilst Santa Ponsa II and III are for members only.

There are plenty of other sports activities available in Santa Ponsa, water sports include diving, water-skiing, surfing, sailing and pedal boating. Santa Ponsa is home to the Club Náutico Santa Ponsa marina with more than 500 moorings, the neighbouring Port Adriano marina is currently undergoing a big enlargement adding 82 moorings to the current 404 as well as a new commercial area with shops and restaurants, it is expected to be completed during 2010, the new Port Adriano aims to become a new port of call for the megayachts in the Mediterranean.

There is a wide selection of restaurants in Santa Ponsa to suit every taste and budget, the night life is  pretty lively with many bars, pubs and clubs but do not expect the all night discos Magaluf's style, however if you are in the mood for that, Magaluf is just a ten minutes drive away.

Santa Ponsa has also beautiful quiet residential area, Santa Ponsa Nova, luxury villas and stunning apartments abound here, this area will sure satisfy the clients who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere yet being a stone's throw away from the lively and bustling Santa Ponsa centre.
